We're looking for good, unique, insightful content. We know there are a lot of hoops enthusiasts out there with a lot to say - some may be professional writers, others may consider themselves amateur analysts, and others are just avid fans. Here's your chance to earn something for your thoughts!
We are hoping to scale articles.sports.ws to a site chock-full of advice, predictions, and knowledgeable and articulate stuff to peruse. We want it to be a place that Sports.ws users will find a worthwhile destination -- a place they'll visit while they're waiting for the next box score or trade proposal to come in. Chances are, you don't want to hear advice from the same columnists over and over again. You may not find McClofferson's love of Yao particularly helpful, you may think Chester C's NBA blotter predictions conflict with the water cooler banter you regularly hear, or you may have an opinion that Sports.ws users need to absorb.
Use the form below to submit a short article - anything from a few hundred to a few thousand words will be reviewed. In exchange, we'll offer you a free owner upgrade in exchange for publishing the article on articles.sports.ws.
  
The level of upgrade we offer will be proportional to the amount we feel the article will contribute to the site. In general, longer articles are more valuable than short, but the quality of the words is most important. Also, there isn't any limit to the number of submissions you can make. Three short articles might prove to be as valuable as one massive analysis - and they don't need to be submitted at the same time. Some of the qualities we're looking for include:
- an entertaining and humorous or expert and scientific angle
- articulate, well formed sentences and prose, logical and sequential sections
- minimal typos, spelling mistakes, and grammatical errors
- something original, nothing copied or repackaged (we may check)
- focused themes, nothing too broad
- content involving the NBA and/or Sports.ws features
- keep it rated "G" or "PG"

We're open to ideas, and you can include graphics or charts if you have them (we can send you e-mail instructions or you can provide a URL if you like). Don't worry about formatting, we can handle it, unless you have suggestions or can provide a URL of the complete article.
We will not publish your article unless you get something in exchange. We left space below to include your "minimum requirements" so we can know if offering a season of gold won't get rights to the article. Also consider - article submission is the only way to obtain the elusive Diamond owner status.
